New York Stories
I’m glad you all liked my New York drawings. I don’t draw nearly enough. Would you be okay with me posting more drawings that are non-New York related? Any themes you’d like me to cover?

Stranger on a train
I’ve never been on a train before. Spacious seats, nice and fast, and thus far, I haven’t been called on to solve any murders. A+! Would train again!
Going to New York City this weekend
What should I get up to? Things that will definitely happen:
Katz’s
Chelsea (but what IN Chelsea?)
UCB (if I can get tickets)
Little Italy
Chinatown
Any advice?
Restaurant Impossible
I don’t know why I like this restaurant renovation show better than “Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares”, but I assume it’s because of there being no Gordon Ramsey in this show. The Robert Whassisface guy is less abrasive.
I love “save my restaurant” shows. When people started out with their dreams in mind and let it slip away, what they need is guidance.
Paterno and co.
You don’t rack up 40 heretofore unheard-of child molestation counts without SOMEONE covering for you. You don’t. It’s not possible. People knew, they were suppressed, and that comes from someone with the power to do that kind of thing.
My thoughts on the Duggars
1) If you can afford to raise 20 kids (I know the oldest is on his own, so it’s technically just 19) and they’re not neglected and you’re not raising them to be Nazis or whatever, then I guess I got no right to tell you how to use your genitals.
2) Just because you CAN have 20 kids doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a terrific idea.
3) Just because people seem well...
On "Helping"
If the only thing you can do to help someone is be optimistic, strong and supportive, well brother, that’s what you do.
On country music
Yes, some of you dislike country music, I know. Years of Tim McGraws and Rascal Flatses and Taylor Swifts have lead you to believe that country music is just soft rock with a whisper of steel guitar.
That “country music” isn’t country music, it’s pop music’s pretty-but-not-as-cool cousin.
Real country music is beer and whiskey and smoke and a hateful woman...
Just finished watching "Shutter Island"
